Joanne Fox interviews Sister Mary Consolation on this special re-broadcast of Faith in Action which airs on Monday, February 24th at 9am. It re-airs on Saturday, March 1st at 7pm
A Le Mars/Remsen native, Remsen St. Mary's graduate, and daughter of Dcn. Doug and Vicki Heeren, Sr. Mary Consolation of the Afflicted, SSVM, and her order are excited to announce the opening of a new Catholic School this fall, St. John Paul the Great Academy, in Harlem, New York.
The school was born from the collective efforts of lay people and sisters of the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara and will be an independent Classical school. The Academy exists to form the whole person, created in the image and likeness of God and redeemed by Christ. The sisters and laypeople are convinced that all children, regardless of their economic background, deserve an integral education that will allow them to appreciate the truth, goodness, and beauty wherever it may be found.
Faith in Action is sponsored by Mary's Choice.
